Day of Giving!
On Tuesday, October 4th, the NSSB participated in the 2nd 2011 Pittsburgh Foundation Day of Giving. This enabled our faithful donors to watch their donations grow even larger!
It was a 24-hour opportunity for the Pittsburgh community to support local non-profit organizations.
This third annual community-wide Day of Giving event, hosted by The Pittsburgh Foundation, used its PittsburghGives on-line program, and raised more than $3.3 million for local nonprofit organizations.
We previously participated in the May 2011 Day of Giving - specifically aimed at local arts and culture non-profits.
