 We are looking for music lovers! Are you looking for a group where you can use your musical abilities? If you enjoy band music and the company of fellow musicians who share your interest, the NSSB is what you are looking for!

We welcome musicians of all abilities and encourage high school students to share in a community band experience. No auditions required!
We play challenging programs; Past concerts have featured music by Leroy Anderson, Aaron Copeland, Norman Dello Joio, Gustav Holtz, Percy Grainger, Alfred Reed, Clifton Williams, and John Williams, to name a few. The NSSB's home for rehearsals is and concerts is the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center (directions). We rehearse every Monday night from 7:30pm to 9:30pm to prepare for the four concert season. Concerts are presented in October, December, March and May on Sunday afternoons at 3:00pm. There are also opportunities to form smaller wind ensembles.
